Collection: Money in politics
Description: South Carolina contribution data was obtained from the State Ethics Commission search portal.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. Data is available from 2000 on and has been updated on March 15, 2023. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
