Collection: Money in politics
Description: Wisconsin contributions data was obtained from the Wisconsin Ethics Commission's Campaign Finance Information System search page. Data is available from 2008 on and has been updated through June 4, 2023.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
