Collection: Money in politics
Description: West Virginia expenditures data was obtained from West Virginia's Secretary of State on their Campaign Finance database. Data is available from Sept. 2018 on and has been updated through October 2022.
Each record is a single campaign expenditure made to an outside vendor for goods or services. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
